
Some Notes
- Do make the special Masala.
- Use good quality puffed rice.
- You can add peas, sprouts or any gedagudi of your choice.
- Add everything you like in your chatpate and it’ll still taste awesome
You’ll Need
To make Special Masala
- 1 tbsp Cumin/Jeera
- 1 tbsp Fennel/Saunf seeds
- 1 tsp Coriander seeds
- 2 green Cardamom Pods
Dry roast the spices on very low heat for 10 minutes. Let it cool completely and then grind to a very fine powder. Your special Chatpate Masala is ready.
Now to make Chatpate for one person
- Two fistful of Puffed rice(around 30 grams)
- 2 tsp Bhujiya
- 2 tsp Mixture/Dalmoth
- 1/2 tsp Special Masala
- 1/4 tsp Black Salt
- 1 tsp Pea
- 1 tsp Chana Sprouts
- 1/4 tsp finely chopped Ginger
- Green chili to your liking
- 2 tsp Boiled potato cubes
- 2 tsp chopped ginger
- 1 tsp Chopped tomatoes
- 1 tsp mustard oil
- 1 tsp oil from the Mango pickle(optional)
- Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp chopped Coriander leaves
Mix everything quickly and enjoy. It’s that simple lol.
